University of Michigan police have received some reports of students having their drinks spiked unknowingly by other people.
Reports in recent months of this activity have been anonymous or unconfirmed second-hand reports, according to a crime alert posted Tuesday by the university Police Department.
A university student told Ann Arbor police she may have been drugged while attending an off-campus fraternity party between 10:30-11:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the 600 block of South State Street, according to the alert.
She reported she had several drinks provided to her at the party, then vomited and blacked out. She told police she was not assaulted when this happened.
No suspects have been identified.
Anyone with information related to drug-altered drinks is asked to contact university police by calling 734-763-1131 or 911, or use the Ann Arbor police tip line at 734-794-6939 or tips@a2gov.org.
